DIY

Today I came across this instructional video via www.laequilibrista.blogspot.com AKA Forest Eyes. I think this scanner camera could work well for some of my work -- just not quite sure how complicated it is to travel with and how well it will function in the super humid climate of Belize.

This is basically a pin hole camera with a scanner where the film would go. Great idea! But Nina, you'll need a really long extension cord to use this in the field in Belize.

You are right!
When Davide came to Placencia the first time in the late 80's the whole village was powered by several extension cords connected to one another. I might have to bring that back ;)
