Travel will be upon me soon. And whenever I have to pack a suitcase, my cats like to pack themselves too. Kind alike this guy. Enjoy.

Sunday This & That
Last weekend we had brunch at home/made (formerly Tini) in Red Hook and it was delicious. The set up is great and you can reserve the garden for private events or hire these ladies to cater off site.
I recommend a visit this summer. If you come from Manhattan take the free Ikea ferry. It's a beautiful ride.
Red Hook is also the home of perch! - you can see some of the perch ceramics at Steve's (delicious) Authentic Key Line Pie. Or online at: www.perchdesign.net. Michele Varian on Crosby Street also carries some perch! designs.
Also my friend Rona gave me some soaps she made a while back and they are awesome. Non-toxic & homemade with cute packaging. If you would like to try them you can find them at the Plum & Lion store: plumandlion.bigcartel.com. Also stop by Rona's blog www.plumandlion.com. Great pics and most recently a poetic and uplifting video titled "Miracle of Chives" by Rona's friend Wilson.
And Tema has a nice post on her blog PALMAIRE about midwesterness.
Oh and if you ar ein Philly today don't miss I-95 -- by my own personal hero Zoe Strauss! Don't know yet who Zoe is? Then read Karen Heller's article "It all clicks for South Phila. photographer" for the Philadelphia Inquirer.
