The incredible Louise Bouregois passed yesterday at the age of 98. Spiders are not my thing and last night I kept a watchful eye on a larger specimen that insisted on hanging out with us in our cottage. That's the tropics for you. But I think it makes for a better story to say that a large spider came to announce the passing of Madame Bourgeois or that it sat in mourning with us. Don't know what I am talking about? Right now I am busy hanging out with with geckos, crabs, iguanans, egrets, dogs, chickens, peacocks, hummingbirds, lots and lots of horses and marveling at bioluminescence.
