Egypt
Some incredible images coming out of Egypt. Khalil Hamra captured an amazing image of pro-democracy protesters celebrating in Tahrir Square after Hosni Mubarak's resignation. You can see the image at: www.thehindu.com or at www.apimages.com.

Rain

The city is photogenic, particularly at night and in the rain. Monday night Downtown looked very 70's Scorsese. Speaking of the formidable Mr. Scorsese, who we refer to affectionately as 'Marty' in our home, I just re-watched The Age of Innocence. It remains one of my all time favorite films. The husband had somehow never seen it but now recommends it too.
PS: And unlike 'Woody' it seems that 'Marty' remains a committed New Yorker. There is hope ;)

Sunday
We had beautiful weather in New York yesterday. Lot s of sunshine and the temperatures were mild. Funny how 41 degrees Fahrenheit can feel balmy after the deep of winter. We walked around this great city all day and stopped by Danal for a late brunch.
